We get hammered with a huge tax bill at the end of January, as do all of our small business clients – which makes for a slow February in terms of business.  Every year it’s the same, so I shouldn’t panic.  Come March, things pick up again – it’s just the natural business cycle.  I even notice this slowdown in the jobs market when I seek out my local employment agencies for possible staff (by the way, my tips is to use local town names in your searches such as recruitment agency leicester) – they too see a slowdown in February.
