My husband is a carpenter and he has been unemployed for the past couple of years. Occasionally he has been able to find a side job in which he can earn a few hundred dollars. Our daughter is a very considerate and ever thoughtful young lady.  She usually starts to come around before my birthday and I can always seen her keeping an eagle eye out for anything that I might need or want for myself or for my home.  She knows already that I always tell her I have everything I need so this is her way of figuring it out for herself.  I have to say I was really thrilled when I got the Nonstick Pans that she purchased for me for my birthday.  I told her this meant so much more than a silly bottle of perfume or something since I really use these!

I think this past summer was by far the worst year for my plants around my home.  What happened is that we had a very dry summer.  Most of the time our summers are wet enough so that my plants don’t completely dry out.  However, this past summer that is the direction that they were starting to head.  I think that getting a rain water tank this year will keep my plants from dying, and keep my budget lower while we are not using extra money on things like hot water heating.  I absolutely love our new rain water tanks, and solar powered heaters.
