Unless you have bought a small home use Brother laser printer you will have a choice of purchasing two different cartridge models as replacements for your toner cartridge at renewal time.

Brother ships its laser printers with standard capcity Brother toner cartridges installed but it is not advisable to keep on purchasing this model of cartridge for your printer.

Brother will also produce a high yield toner cartridge for use in your printer, this will have a slightly different model number but will very often give you twice as many prints, leading to much lower printing costs.

An example of this is the HL2150N printer that is shipped with a TN2110 cartridge rated at 1,500 pages, whilst the TN2120 cartridge will yield up to 2,600 pages.
