Fruits, veggies and telomerase enzyme
March 8, 2010 7:59 am Health and FitnessIt is well known that vegetables and fruits contain many of the essential vitamins and minerals needed for our body’s healthy growth and maintenance. Research has shown that even small daily doses of fruits can decrease the risk of having a stroke in later life. Unfortunately cooking these foods destroys roughly 30% of the nutrients in them, that’s why it is recommended that we eat them raw. You can tell whether the food contains a lot of vitamins by the colour of the its skin, a dark green vegetable or fruit will have the most amount of nutrients, spinach, collard greens, peppers and cucumbers are a good choice to start with. Scientific research has found that watercress contains antioxidants, which can help to guard against forms of cancer. A good idea would be to go out and buy a selection of different kinds of fresh fruits and vegetables and experiment with different combinations, eating healthy doesn’t mean bland and boring. You can also get some telomerase enzyme supplements. Telomerase enzyme just won the Nobel Prize as a substance directly involved in longevity. Unfortunately most common foods don’t have it and the only way you may get it is through products containing telomerase enzyme extract (see the link).
