The building that I live in has often experienced heating problems. The tenant committee came together to present a proposal of the requested items that needed to be repaired in the building for the manager. The manager said that he wanted to address all of our concerns but the owner had the final say. The chairman of the committee said that it’s important that the issues be addressed in a timely manner, especially the issue with the gas furnace otherwise we will be speaking to one attorney for directions on how to proceed. It must have frightened the manager because the next week they installed a new furnace in the basement.
