Iranian-born Zaya Younan held top executive positions with General Motors, TRW and Johnson Controls before becoming chairman and CEO of Younan Properties, the California based real estate investment firm. He founded Younan Properties in 2002, inspired by what he recognized as a lack of efficiency and a need for improved business strategy in the office real estate industry.  As a turnaround specialist with two decades of operations and management experience, Zaya Younan decided to leave consulting to enter the world of office real estate investment. Since then, he has worked to make the industry more responsive to global trends and changes.
