The software I love the most is made by Microsoft as they make it so safe when you need it if you work from home.  Microsoft Password is made available for most of their software to protect other eyes getting into your work if it is confidential.  There is nothing more annoying when a document is lost or looked at by the wrong person so the protection in invaluable to important documents keeping your work safe.  I have found in the past when using other software packages, they have no protection to use and it can get worrying if the work you are doing is open to people being able to view it
