What to Expect in Massage Therapist Training
February 27, 2010 7:47 am Reference and EducationSalons are not the only place you can work when you complete a course of study in massage therapist training. Many medical facilities, sports related venues and salons are possible places of employment after completing your studies. The schools concentrating on massage therapy will include many different types of massage, both Swedish, sports and medical massage techniques. These techniques require training in medical terminology, pathology, pharmacology, orthopedic assessment and myofascial integration. Medical facilities that employ graduates of this type of program can include physical therapy, pre-natal care, sports rehabilitation and sports training camps. Of course you can work in a resort, salon or spa too.
